Resident Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2017-2018 academic year. To purchase a meal plan, please contact Campus Housing at 575-538-6629. 

 Residence Hall Plans

Your meal plan is chosen when you submit your housing application. This plan can be changed during specific time frames during the semester. A meal plan is required for all residents living in Mustang Village and Centennial Hall.

Mustang Lite Plus: $1800/semester: 10 meals per week in the Mustang Dining Hall Plus $225 flex dollars

Mustang Mix Plus: $1950/semester: 15 meals per week in the Mustang Dining Hall Plus $225 flex dollars

All Access: $2150/semester: 19 meals per week in the Mustang Dining Hall Plus $175 flex dollars

A Meal Plan is required for Centennial Hall and Mustang Village residents. Muir Height residents are not required to purchase a meal plan. Meals do not transfer from semester to semester.  Meals not used will be lost  at the conclusion of each semester.

Commuter Student Plans    

Block 70 - $500 (70 anytime meals + $100 Flex)

Block 25 - $250 (25 anytime meals + $100 Flex)

Flex Plan - $500 (5 anytime meals + $500 Flex)


Dining Card Information
Your Meal Plan information is stored on your student ID Card.
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program.  Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including: premium steak and or seafood nights.

Mustang Dining Café
To-Go Container Policy for Students on a Meal Plan

To Go Containers will be available for all students on a Meal Plan who do not have sufficient time in their academic or work-study schedule during the scheduled hours the Café is open for meals. The procedure will be to request a To-Go Container when they arrive at the Cashier station after their ID is swiped.

For Students on a Meal plan who would like to take food To-Go after they have had a meal can request a To-Go Container from the cashier and we will swipe your card an additional time for this service.

Dining Policies & Procedures 
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
